Q. What is Paintless Dent Repair?

A. Paintless Dent Repair is the art of removing minor dents and door dings using a process called 'reverse panel access'. Simply put, a technician accesses the reverse side of the dent and meticulously massages it back to its original form. This process does not damage the paint in any way. This means that we can quickly and safely repair minor damage without the use of filler, sanding, or repainting.

Q. What size dents can be repaired?

A. Most non-collision dents can be repaired if there is no damage to the paint. The limiting factor is the relationship between the depth and the diameter of the dent. A large broad shallow dent is easier to repair than a small extremely sharp dent. Dents with moderate crowning can also be successfully removed.

Q. What type of vehicle can be repaired?

A. We have repaired almost every kind of passenger vehicle imaginable, from Volkswagens to Ferraris.

Q. What if you can't repair the dent?

A. If the dent is not removed from your vehicle according to the standards set when we did the estimate, there will be no charge.

Q. What if the dent comes back? (This has never happened, it is not even possible, but the question has been posed.)

A. If the dent we removed ever reappears we will repair it again, free of charge!

Q. How long does the repair take?

A. Most dents and door dings can be repaired in under an hour!

Q. How much does it cost?

A. Price is completely dependent on the severity of the dent or dents. Minor repairs are often less than $100.00. You can usually count on a paint free dent repair costing approximately 75% less than a body shop repair.

Q. How do you remove the dents?

A. The High Sierra Dent Company paintless dent repair system is based on a high level of skill, special tools, and the principles of stress relieving. We do not use heat, ice, chemicals, vacuum or any of the other exotic solutions you may have heard about or seen on TV. Our system is simple, fast, safe and kind to your vehicle.
